Technology Scrum Master

Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate Agile Processes:
- Lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint reviews.
- Ensure the team adheres to Agile practices and principles, and continuously improve processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Team Support:
- Act as a coach and mentor to team members, promoting Agile values and helping them overcome challenges.
- Identify and remove obstacles that may impede the team’s progress, ensuring smooth and timely project delivery.
Teamwork:
- Work closely with Product Owners to define and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
- Communicate effectively with team members to provide project updates, manage expectations, and address any issues or changes.
Project Management:
- Monitor and track key performance metrics such as sprint velocity, burn-down charts, and overall progress.
- Coordinate with multi-functional teams to ensure integration and alignment across different technology areas, including C#,.NET, SQL Server, and Azure.
Continuous Improvement:
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging innovation and experimentation.
- Advocate for standard processes in Agile methodologies and technology use, particularly within the Microsoft technology stack.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Demonstrable experience as a Scrum Master managing technical teams, with a solid understanding of Microsoft technologies (C#,.NET, SQL Server, Azure).
- Certifications: Scrum Master certification (e.g., CSM, PSM I) is preferred.
- Skills:
- Experience working in Data Driven Product companies/startups
- In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework.
- Experience with Microsoft technologies and a solid understanding of their integration and development processes.
- Strong facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
- Superb communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
