Site Supervisor

A Civil Engineer at Arch.Er Studio will plan, design, and oversee construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure, such as roads, railways, airports, bridges, harbors, dams, irrigation projects, power plants, and water and sewerage systems. The role involves working closely with clients, architects, and other engineers to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Project Planning and Design**:

- Develop detailed designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Prepare engineering calculations, design plans, and specifications.
- Conduct site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings, and other).
- Assess potential risks, materials, and costs.
- **Project Management**:

- Manage, supervise, and visit contractors on site and advise on civil engineering issues.
- Ensure that the projects comply with legal requirements, especially health and safety.
- Liaise with clients and a variety of professionals including architects and subcontractors.
- Oversee the budget and ensure that work is completed on time.
- **Technical Analysis**:

- Perform technical and feasibility studies including site investigations.
- Use computer software to develop detailed designs.
- Assess the sustainability and environmental impact of projects.
- Ensure projects run smoothly and structures are completed within budget and on time.
- **Regulatory Compliance**:

- Ensure that all the work complies with legal requirements.
- Act as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, craftspeople, and operatives.
- Check plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy of calculations.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is preferred.
- Proven experience in civil engineering, preferably within [specific industry/sector].
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD or similar).

- Ability to work on construction sites, which may involve standing, walking, and climbing.
- Occasional lifting of equipment or materials.
