**Patient Customer Care Executive**
The Patient Customer Care Executive plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive and supportive experience for patients seeking assistance with healthcare-related inquiries. This position involves effective communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills to address patient concerns and provide information about services. The Patient Customer Care Executive serves as a bridge between the organization and patients, contributing to overall patient satisfaction and loyalty.
**Department: Customer Service**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Patient Communication:
Ø Demonstrate empathy and understanding when interacting with patients, addressing their concerns with patience and courtesy.
- Information Provision:
Ø Provide accurate and detailed information about healthcare services, appointment scheduling, billing inquiries, and other relevant topics.
Ø Ensure patients are well-informed about their treatment plans, prescriptions, and any necessary follow-up procedures.
- Problem Resolution:
Ø Investigate and resolve patient complaints, issues, or disputes in a timely and effective manner.
Ø Collaborate with internal departments to facilitate swift resolution and prevent recurring problems.
- Appointment Scheduling:
Ø Assist patients in scheduling, rescheduling, or cancelling appointments as needed.
Ø Coordinate with medical staff and other departments to optimize appointment availability.
- Insurance Assistance:
Ø Guide patients through the insurance process, including verification, pre-authorization, and billing inquiries.
Ø Work closely with the billing department to address any insurance-related issues.
- Documentation:
Ø Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions and transactions in the customer relationship management (CRM) system.
Ø Ensure compliance with privacy regulations and organizational policies.
- Collaboration:
Ø Collaborate with healthcare professionals, administrative staff, and other departments to enhance the overall patient experience.
Ø Participate in regular team meetings to discuss challenges, share insights, and contribute to process improvement.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- 10+2 / Any Graduate / Diploma Holders.
- Freshers / Previous experience in customer service in any industry
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathetic and patient-oriented approach.
- problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficient in using customer relationship management (CRM) software.
**Working Conditions**:
- Office-based environment with regular computer use and phone communication.
- May require occasional evening or weekend shifts based on organizational needs.
