A student counselor's job is to support students' academic, career, and personal development. They do this by:

- **Providing guidance**: Helping students create academic plans, navigate career choices, and address personal challenges
- **Offering counseling**: Providing counseling and resources to students experiencing a range of social, emotional, and health issues
- **Mediating conflict**: Leading conversations and conflict resolution between students, teachers, and parents
- **Improving relationships**: Improving parent/teacher relationships
- **Assessing students**: Assessing student interests and abilities through individual planning
- **Developing study habits**: Helping students develop better study habits and manage academic pressure
- **Preparing for college**: Assisting students in preparing for college admissions and entrance examinations
- **Organizing events**: Organizing events to develop student sensitivity to social issues
- **Reporting to administration**: Reporting on student well-being to the administration
- **Collaborating with others**: Collaborating with educators, parents, and other relevant professionals

Student counselors should have exceptional communication skills and a thorough understanding of psychological theories and practices. They should also be able to work with students from diverse backgrounds and levels of ability.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- T Nagar, Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
