Position: Restaurant Captain

Department: Food & Beverage

Reports To: Restaurant Manager / Assistant Restaurant Manager

Work Location: Kalyani Nagar, Viman Nagar,Pune.

Job Summary:
The Restaurant Captain is responsible for supervising the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring guest satisfaction, maintaining quality service standards, and coordinating with the service team to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management:

- Oversee and coordinate the floor operations during service hours.
- Ensure all tables are set up according to the restaurant’s standards before opening.
- Monitor cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in the restaurant.
- Ensure smooth service flow, addressing bottlenecks or issues promptly.

Guest Service:

- Greet and welcome guests, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
- Handle guest queries, complaints, and special requests professionally.
- Ensure timely service of food and beverages, meeting guest expectations.
- Build rapport with regular guests and maintain a database of preferences.

Team Leadership:

- Allocate tasks to service staff and monitor their performance.
- Train new staff and ensure existing team members adhere to SOPs.
- Motivate the team to achieve sales targets and enhance customer experience.
- Conduct pre-shift briefings to update the team on daily specials, events, and other details.

Inventory & Reporting:

- Ensure adequate stock of tableware, linens, and other essentials.
- Assist in inventory checks and requisitions for supplies.
- Prepare shift reports, including guest feedback and team performance.

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and efficiently.
- Keen attention to detail and a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Sound knowledge of food and beverage menus and service standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Education: Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a similar role in a fine dining or casual dining restaurant.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer knowledge.

Salary Range: 15,000Rs - 18,000Rs

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month

Supplemental Pay:
