Responsible for initiating product licensing process and supporting related tasks like validation of business plans, technology and know how transfer
- Define functional specifications together with sales and leading development projects (if required)
- Continuous monitoring of product position (KPI) and regular analysis of competitors activities
- Product support during product life cycle from development to obsolescence. Initiate and support measures to improve, adjust and streamline product portfolio.
- Support focus countries to improve sales with related product. Visits to KSB manufacturing plants, Customer visits with sales, If required
- Evaluation and processing offer permits together with engineering/hydraulics. Monitoring and billing of related technical services.
- Ensure actuality of documentation including product catalogue on KSB Webpage and Intranet.
- Support and coordination for implementation of products into product configurators including data collection and preparation and support for testing.
- Support of implementation and maintenance of products within relevant product selection and configuration tools. Alignment with sales on global level.
- Monitoring of engineering efforts and ensuring correct allocation. Follow up invoicing with affected parties.
- Graduate in Mechanical Engineering (+MBA or DBM, if possible)
- 3- 5 years of relevant experience
- Willingness to travel and international experience as well as a very good knowledge of English
- MS Office software (Excel, Word, Power point, MS outlook etc)
- Team-working skills, assertiveness and good communication and management skills
- Systematic way of working. Ability of planning and coordination of complex tasks
- Big picture thinking;
- Good team player with interactive approach and flair to explore, apply, suggest new possibilities
- Independent way of working
- Capability to motivate and to persuade people
