
Instructional Designer

As a Content Design Associate, you will help FocusU Learners in their personal and professional growth journey by designing and developing learning experiences for them. Leveraging different ID principles while keeping the FocusU Learning Philosophy at the core, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality behavioural skills training content that is relevant and relatable to the learners.
**Responsibilities**:
- Creating new authentic or re-writing existing internal content using various criteria to develop rich and relevant learning content
- Researching, designing, and developing learning assets, including but not limited to: Presentations slides, Video scripts, Storyboards, case studies, scenario-based assessments, Job aids / reference cards, Participant workbooks, etc
- Developing innovative learning activities / assessments to support an interactive learning environment across different formats (ILTs, VILTs, blended learning, etc.) using storytelling and gamification
- Working alongside and supporting SMEs / vendor partners
- Liaising with other team members to ensure development of materials as per required standards and brand guidelines, quality, etc.
- Actively recommending / experimenting with new strategies to innovate content development /use of new tech-based learning tools
- Designing and developing content keeping in mind adult learning principles and ID models (Bloom’s taxonomy, ADDIE, Gagne’s 9 Principles, Kirkpatrick Model, etc)
- Delivering high-quality content by performing reviews and QC (including checks for IP / plagiarism) of material developed
- Contributing to FocusU Academy’s product portfolio by way of tracking L&D trends and being alert to product improvement opportunities
- Handling assigned content design projects from end to end on need basis
**Experience and Education**:
- Postgraduate (Organizational Psychology / MBA HR) with 1-3 years’ experience
- Be resourceful, self-motivated, and able to independently prioritize shifting workload
- Demonstrate clear, professional and concise communications (written/verbal) in the English language
- Attention to detail
- Be willing to master new learning technologies and L&D topics in short timeframes
- Multitask and meet deadlines with quality performance
- Staying abreast with the latest L&D trends
