Job Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
Make outbound calls to potential customers and generate leads for life insurance products.
Convert leads into sales by effectively communicating product benefits and addressing customer queries.
Maintain and update customer databases with accurate information.
Follow up on leads and prospects to nurture relationships and close sales.
Provide excellent customer service by understanding customer needs and offering suitable life insurance solutions.
Meet or exceed sales targets and performance goals set by the management team.
Maintain knowledge of life insurance products, policies, and industry trends.
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create and implement effective sales strategies.
Keep track of sales activities, report on progress, and ensure follow-up on every lead.
Ensure all calls comply with regulatory guidelines and company policies.
Key Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of telesales experience, preferably in the Life Insurance industry.
Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport over the phone.
Goal-oriented with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Ability to handle customer objections and close sales confidently.
Knowledge of life insurance products is a plus.
Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high call volumes.
Good problem-solving skills and customer service orientation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
Any sales or insurance certifications are an advantage (e.g., IRDAI certification).
**Education**:
- Higher Secondary(12th Pass) (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Telesales (preferably in Life Insurance): 1 year (preferred)
- Telephony: 1 year (preferred)
