**Role Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Preparation and Cooking**: Prepare and cook a variety of authentic Bengali dishes, ensuring high quality and consistency in taste and presentation.
- **Menu Development**: Collaborate with the head chef to create and refine the restaurant’s menu, incorporating seasonal ingredients and traditional recipes.
- **Quality Control**: Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene and safety; monitor food quality and presentation to meet restaurant standards.
- **Kitchen Management**: Oversee kitchen operations, including ingredient sourcing, inventory management, and kitchen staff supervision.
- **Customer Interaction**: Engage with customers to receive feedback and make adjustments to dishes as needed to ensure customer satisfaction.
- **Innovation**: Stay updated on trends in Bengali cuisine and suggest innovative ideas to enhance the menu and dining experience.

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: Minimum of 3-7 years of experience as an Indian Chef with a focus on Bengali cuisine.
- **Skills**: Proficiency in preparing traditional Bengali dishes, including but not limited to, fish curry, bhat, and traditional sweets.
- **Knowledge**: Strong understanding of Bengali cooking techniques, spices, and regional ingredients.
- **Education**: Formal culinary training or equivalent experience in a professional kitchen.
- **Personal Attributes**: Passionate about Bengali cuisine, creative, and detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
