Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Indian & Mughlai Chef who can not only lead a professional kitchen team but also bring creativity, modern thinking, and disciplined food cost management to our operations. The ideal candidate should be passionate about authentic Mughlai flavors, experienced in handling large-scale operations, and capable of training and mentoring kitchen staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the kitchen team, ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation.
- Design and innovate menu items while maintaining authenticity in Indian and Mughlai cuisine.
- Monitor and control food costs, wastage, and inventory.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and quality standards.
- Train, mentor, and motivate junior chefs and kitchen staff.
- Collaborate with management for menu planning, seasonal specials, and process improvements.
- Think out of the box to enhance customer experience with innovative dishes.
Requirements
- Professional culinary education (Hotel Management / Culinary Arts preferred).
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience specializing in Indian and Mughlai cuisine.
- Proven experience in kitchen leadership and team management.
- Strong knowledge of food cost control and inventory management.
- Creativity and innovation in menu planning.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
