**Regional Operating Officer (ROO)**:

- Location: Hyderabad, India_

The Regional Operating Officer is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hospital, including admissions, grooming, boarding, and front desk functions. Through effective delegation to League employees, the ROO implements operational procedures aligned with policies established by upper leadership. The ROO also ensures the execution of directives from upper management.

This role demands strong leadership, communication, customer service, and time management skills to foster a professional, positive, and team-oriented work environment.
**A minimum of 5+ years of experience in operations or a similar leadership role is required.**

The ROO is responsible for:

- Training, providing feedback, and conducting timely performance reviews.
- Ensuring all major purchases align with budgetary guidelines.
- Collaborating with the Head Vet and President/CEO on annual budget and audit preparation.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Plan, organize, and oversee operations in the hospital, grooming, boarding, VPG, and front desk departments to ensure alignment with organizational principles and objectives.
- Lead continuous development of innovative programs to advance the hospital and VPG’s outreach and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote SOPH and VPG.
- Maintain updated, accurate information on the website and Google Business account.
- Respond to reviews across Google and other platforms.
- Develop promotional strategies for the hospital.
- Manage social media content for both the hospital and VPG.
- Stay informed on local competitors and strategize improvements.
- Lead weekly leadership meetings.
- Ensure comprehensive staff training and follow-through.
- Deliver presentations representing the company as needed.
- Engage with potential partners interested in VPG collaboration.
- Ensure accurate daily cash deposits.
- Monitor timely payments from rescue organizations.
- Maintain overall operational flow of the hospital, grooming, and boarding units.
- Ensure proper implementation of policies, procedures, and programs through coordination with senior management.
- Administer the Vet Buddy database—manage users, resolve duplicates, update fields, and create reports.
- Oversee the creation and enforcement of operational standards and ensure availability of staff training, including in-house programs.
- Conduct monthly staff meetings for issue resolution and new procedure training.
- Supervise the Front Desk Manager to maintain high service quality.
- Participate in local, regional, and national animal welfare organizations or committees.
- Represent the hospital and VPG at public and community functions.
- Address public complaints regarding hospital, grooming, boarding, or front desk services.
- Serve as the on-call manager (24/7 rotation with Head Vet).
- Act as President/CEO when required, handling duties in their absence.
- Take on special projects as assigned by the Head Vet and President/CEO.
