**Designation: Chief Incubation Officer**

**Job Role**:
Ø Lead technical, regulatory, liaison, administrative, and institutional support within the scope of the Ganesan Incubation and Entrepreneurship Center (GIEC).

Ø Collaborate with incubatees, innovators, and researchers while managing the daily operations of the incubation capacity.

Ø This role demands a passionate and versatile individual ready to make a significant impact at the incubation center.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
Ø Must have a solid understanding of Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) and experience in Technology Transfer.

Ø Forge partnerships with other incubators, institutes, and industries.

Ø Strong understanding of start-up companies, technology and incubation, early-stage investments, and fundraising.

Ø Proficiency in social media marketing tools and techniques.

Ø Command of the English language and proficiency in Hindi would be an added advantage.

Ø Applicants should be skilled in conceptualizing, compiling, and creating papers, presentations, techno-legal/commercial documents, proposals, etc.

Ø Identify and assess potential startup opportunities

Ø Engage with key stakeholders to build support and secure resources

Ø Rapidly adapt to changes in the startup environment

Ø Oversee project administration and coordination

Ø Responsible for Start-up ecosystem - Ideation, Prototype Support, Mentoring, Seed funding, and angel investment

**Essential Qualifications**:
Ø Postgraduate, preferably in management

Ø Minimum 4 years' experience as an executive director or centre manager in a successful incubation centre

Ø Experience managing legal compliance from admission to graduation of at least 4 successful incubatees

Ø Compliance with Atal Innovation Mission guidelines

**Deliverables**:
Ø Develop the vision, strategy, and business model for the center in consultation with the Governing Body to achieve its objectives.

Ø Collaborate closely with the Governing Body and report to them on the implementation of strategy, review processes, and plans for continuous improvement.

Ø Lead efforts to establish the center as a key player in the incubation/acceleration space by setting up world-class incubators, building, executing, and scaling incubation programs, conducting outreach activities, measuring impacts, and collaborating with partners/stakeholders within the start-up/entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Ø Provide overall strategic guidance, establish procedures, guidelines, and best practices for coordination, consolidation, synergy, and success of incubators and incubated start-ups.

Ø Attract funding opportunities, such as grants and seed funds, for the Incubation Centre from private and government sources.

Ø Familiarize with the filing and documentation of center operations.

Ø Serve as the Chief Experimenter by encouraging start-up ventures to innovate, promoting a culture of innovation, assisting in converting ideas into products/IPs and commercialization, and creating significant value for start-ups, investors, and the incubator.
