**Ciklum** is looking for a **Database Administrator** to join our team full-time in **India**.

**Responsibilities**:

- Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Azure databases
- Diagnosing connectivity problems, monitoring resource utilization, and analyzing query performance
- Managing Azure databases and ensuring their performance, security, and availability

**Requirements**:

- Has 3+ years of experience in DBA, and support in Azure DB, Postgres, Oracle & Maria DB
- RDBMS skills: Oracle, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, MariaDB
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, replication/log shipping issues, connectivity issues, security issues, etc.
- Experience in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, using Performance Monitor, SQL Profile
- Troubleshooting SQL Server-related CPU, memory, I/O, disk space, and other resource contention
- Strong knowledge of backups, restores, recovery models, database shrink operations, DBCC commands, Clustering, Database mirroring, and Replication. Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options
- Experience in implementing operational automation
- Strong knowledge of how indexes, index management, and integrity checks. How statistics work, how indexes are stored, and how they can be created and managed effectively
- Knowledge of Azure tools (Profiler, DTA, SSMS, SAC, SSCM, PerfMon, DMVs, system sprocs & other technical terms)
- Documentation skills for processes and procedures (creating KBs, runbooks, topology, etc.)
- Good command of English

Desirable
- Knowledge of UK and Euro payment schemes
- Experience with microservice architecture projects
- Experience with cloud migration programs
- Hands-on experience with Docker
