**Job Overview** **Primary Duties and Responsibilities** **Database Administration & Architecture** - Design, implement, and optimize data warehouse architectures on AWS. - Provide optimized solutions for existing data structures and infrastructure. - Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of database environments. - Manage role-based access control (RBAC) and database security policies. - Monitor database performance and optimize queries for fast execution. **DevOps & Infrastructure Automation** - Drive the implementation of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) for data pipelines. - Collaborate with DevOps engineers to improve system deployment and monitoring processes. - Ensure seamless integration of data solutions with cloud-based and on-prem environments. **Stakeholder Collaboration & Leadership** - Work closely with business stakeholders to understand data requirements. - Evaluate and recommend data-related technologies, tools, and platforms. - Lead and mentor a team of data professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. - Document processes, schemas, and workflows to ensure knowledge transfer and efficiency. **Knowledge and Skills Required** - 5+ years of hands-on experience with data warehousing technologies. - Strong expertise in AWS Redshift, SQL, and data architecture. - Experience in designing and optimizing schemas for performance and scalability. - Hands-on experience with DevOps and automation tools. - Strong knowledge of data security, compliance, and governance best practices. - Experience working with large-scale data processing and cloud-based solutions. - Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to lead teams. **Additional Skillset (Preferred but not Mandatory)**: - Experience in designing and implementing data sourcing, integration, and transformation processes. - Developing and maintaining data pipelines to ingest, clean, harmonize, and consolidate data. - Supporting migration of existing data transformation jobs to modern frameworks. - Collaborating with developers and analysts to enhance data workflows and ETL processes. **Experience** - 5+ years of experience in database administration. **Education** - Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related field. **About Us
