The DP Biology Facilitator is responsible for providing high-quality instruction in Biology for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme (DP). This role involves teaching students the core concepts of biology while fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and practical scientific skills. The facilitator will ensure students meet the IB curriculum standards and will guide them in their inquiry-based learning, preparing them for both internal and external assessments.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons in DP Biology, covering topics such as cell biology, genetics, ecology, evolution, human physiology, and biotechnology in line with the IB curriculum.
- **: Oversee and support students in practical work and experiments, ensuring that students are proficient in scientific methods and safety protocols.
- Design and assess both formative and summative assessments, including lab reports, written exams, and internal assessments. Provide constructive and timely feedback to students to support their learning.
- Offer individualized guidance to students to ensure they understand complex biological concepts and help them develop their research, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Track student progress and performance through regular assessments and maintain accurate records of student achievements.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay updated on the latest advancements in biology, scientific teaching methods, and IB pedagogy.
- Contribute to the school’s wider science community by organizing extracurricular activities such as science fairs, field trips, and guest speaker events related to biology.
- Promote sustainability and ethical considerations in biological research and studies, encouraging students to explore real-world issues and challenges.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- A degree in Biology, Life Sciences, or a closely related field. A teaching qualification or certification, as well as experience in the IB system, is highly desirable.
- 2+ Years teaching experience in biology at the high school or university level, preferably with experience in the IB Diploma Programme.
- Strong ability to explain complex biological concepts clearly, proficiency in laboratory techniques and safety protocols, and the ability to inspire and engage students.
- **Other**: Familiarity with educational technologies and laboratory tools that support modern biology instruction.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
