**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Patient Reception & Communication**:

- Greet and direct patients and visitors in a professional and compassionate manner.
- Explain hospital services, outpatient process, and department locations.
- Provide assistance to elderly, differently abled, and critical patients.

**2. Registration & Appointment Handling**:

- Register patients in the Hospital Management System (HMS).
- Collect and verify patient history, referral letters, and prior reports.
- Schedule consultations, lab tests, scans, and follow-up visits appropriately.

**3. Medical Knowledge-Based Assistance**:

- Explain the difference between departments (e.g., General Medicine vs. Pediatrics).
- Guide patients about common medical procedures (ECG, X-ray, Blood Tests, etc.).
- Identify priority or emergency symptoms and alert medical staff when needed (e.g., chest pain, unconsciousness, high fever in infants).

**4. Billing, Payments & Insurance**:

- Generate bills for OP consultations, diagnostics, and minor procedures.
- Collect and process cash/card/UPI/insurance payments.
- Support patients in filling pre-authorization forms for insurance claims.

**5. Record Keeping & Documentation**:

- Maintain proper documentation of OP files, ID proofs, insurance papers.
- Prepare and submit daily reports (Patient Footfall, Revenue, Pending Payments).

**6. Coordination & Support**:

- Coordinate with nursing stations, pharmacy, diagnostics, and medical officers.
- Ensure patients are prepared and present for investigations and procedures on time.
- Provide discharge instructions or referral information when needed.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Minimum: Any Degree (Life Science or Hospital Administration preferred)
- Preferred: Basic knowledge in anatomy, common diseases, and medical terminology
- Experience: 1-2 years in hospital or clinic setup preferred
- Language: Proficiency in English and Tamil (or local language)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
