Accounts Executive

**Transaction Processing**:
Accurately ringing up items, calculating total costs, and handling payments.
- **Payment Handling**:
Accepting various forms of payment (cash, credit/debit cards, gift cards), making change, and issuing receipts.
- **Customer Service**:
Greeting customers, answering questions about products or services, and resolving customer issues or complaints.
- **Checkout Area Maintenance**:
Keeping the checkout area clean and organized, and assisting with restocking shelves or displays as needed.
- **Cash Handling**:
Counting and balancing the cash register at the beginning and end of shifts, and reporting any discrepancies.
- **Inventory Assistance**:
Helping with stocking shelves, rotating merchandise, and maintaining accurate inventory levels.
- **Following Procedures**:
Adhering to store policies regarding returns, exchanges, and other customer service procedures.
- **Teamwork**:
Collaborating with other team members to ensure efficient store operations and a positive customer experience.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- **Basic Maths Skills**: Ability to accurately calculate totals, make change, and reconcile cash drawers.
- **Software**: Tally, MS-Office
- **Communication Skills**: Clear and effective communication with customers and team members.
- **Customer Service Skills**: Friendly, helpful, and patient demeanor when interacting with customers.
- **Attention to Detail**: Accuracy in scanning items, handling payments, and counting cash.
- **Problem-Solving Skills**: Ability to resolve customer issues and handle returns or exchanges effectively.
- **Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment**: Cashiers need to be able to handle a high volume of transactions efficiently.
- **Familiarity with POS Systems**: Experience using cash registers or point-of-sale systems is often required.
