Role Overview:
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Chef who specializes in healthy, innovative snacks. You will be responsible for developing new recipes, enhancing existing products, and ensuring consistency in flavor, texture, and quality, while aligning with the brand’s health-focused ethos.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize, develop, and test new healthy snack recipes (bars, cookies, bites, granola, baked goods, etc.).
- Modify existing recipes to improve taste, nutritional value, shelf life, and scalability.
- Ensure all products comply with nutritional guidelines, food safety, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with the product development, marketing, and operations teams for new launches and seasonal innovations.
- Maintain documentation of formulations, batch records, and recipe iterations.
- Research global trends in health food and bring fresh, innovative ideas to the table.
- Source and evaluate quality raw materials and ingredients.
- Support in scaling recipes from kitchen trials to full production batches.
- Conduct sensory evaluations and incorporate feedback into product improvements.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a chef, ideally with a background in healthy food, patisserie, bakery, or snack development.
- Strong knowledge of nutrition, special diets (gluten-free, vegan, keto, etc.), and clean-label cooking.
- Creativity and a passion for creating exciting, wholesome food.
- Ability to work with precision and maintain consistency across batches.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and compliance (FSSAI or similar certifications is a plus).
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Culinary degree or professional training (preferred but not mandatory with relevant experience).
- Prior experience in an FMCG, health food startup, or R&D kitchen is highly desirable.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Rotational shift
- Weekend availability
