A **Banquet Sales Executive** is responsible for selling, coordinating, and managing all aspects of banquet and event-related services within a hotel or venue. They work closely with clients to understand their needs, sell banquet packages, and ensure the successful execution of events, ranging from weddings and corporate meetings to large parties and conferences.

**Key Responsibilities**:1. **Sales & Business Development**:

- **Identify and generate leads** for new business opportunities related to banquet and event sales.
- **Sell banquet packages**, conference rooms, meeting spaces, and event services to potential clients.
- **Conduct site visits** with prospective clients, showcasing event facilities and amenities.
- **Develop and maintain relationships** with corporate clients, event planners, wedding coordinators, and other potential customers.
- **Prepare proposals** and quotations for clients, tailoring event packages to meet specific requirements.
- **Negotiate contracts** with clients, ensuring pricing, terms, and services are agreed upon and in line with company policies.
- **Achieve sales targets** and contribute to the growth and revenue of the banquet and event business.
- **Participate in industry networking events**, trade shows, and community outreach to promote the venue and services.

2. **Client Relations & Coordination**:

- **Consult with clients** to understand their event requirements, including the number of guests, food and beverage preferences, audiovisual needs, and décor.
- **Provide expert advice** on event planning, logistics, and design to enhance client satisfaction.
- **Coordinate with other departments** (e.g., catering, AV, event set-up) to ensure the seamless execution of events.
- **Create event orders** and distribute details to relevant departments, ensuring all event requirements are met.
- **Resolve any issues** or conflicts that may arise before or during the event, ensuring client satisfaction.

3. **Event Execution & On-Site Support**:

- **Oversee the event setup** and ensure all details are executed as agreed, including room layout, decorations, food and beverage arrangements, and technical requirements.
- **Monitor the progress of events** and ensure smooth transitions between activities (e.g., meals, speeches, entertainment).
- **Serve as the main point of contact** during the event, handling any last-minute changes or requests.
- **Ensure the event runs on time** and meets the client’s expectations for service, quality, and overall experience.
- **Assist with on-site troubleshooting** during events, ensuring prompt and efficient problem resolution.

4. **Reporting & Administration**:

- **Prepare and maintain reports** on sales leads, bookings, and performance against targets.
- **Track client communications** and manage a database of current and potential clients.
- **Follow up with clients** after events to gather feedback and encourage repeat business or referrals.
- **Process contracts** and ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately.

5. **Marketing & Promotion**:

- **Collaborate with the marketing team** to create promotional materials, online content, and social media campaigns to promote the banquet services.
- **Stay updated on industry trends** and competition to ensure the venue's offerings remain competitive.
- **Assist in organizing promotional events** to attract new clients and build brand awareness.

6. **Budgeting & Financial Management**:

- **Assist clients with budgeting** for their events, ensuring they are aware of costs and options within their budget.
- **Monitor event budgets** and ensure that all costs are controlled while still delivering a high-quality experience for the client.
- **Review billing** for accuracy after the event and ensure proper invoicing of services rendered.

**Skills & Qualifications**:1. **Education and Experience**:

- A **Bachelor's degree** in Hospitality, Marketing, Business, or a related field (preferred).
- **Experience in sales**, event planning, or hospitality, preferably within a hotel or banquet facility.
- Knowledge of **banquet operations**, event coordination, and the hospitality industry.
- Familiarity with **event planning software** and **Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems**.

2. **Key Skills**:

- **Sales & Negotiation**: Ability to identify opportunities and close deals effectively, meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- **Communication**: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
