Retail Sales Executive

We are looking for a **Retail Sales Executive** to join our team. As a Retail Sales Executive, you will be responsible for providing an excellent shopping experience to customers, meeting sales targets, and contributing to the store’s overall success. Your role will involve assisting customers, promoting products, handling sales transactions, and maintaining a welcoming and organized store environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Customer Service**:

- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Understand customer needs and recommend products that best suit their requirements.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Provide product knowledge and information to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
- **Sales and Target Achievement**:

- Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets set by the store or management.
- Promote and upsell products to customers to increase sales volume and revenue.
- Identify sales opportunities and assist in driving promotions and discounts.
- Track sales progress and report results to the management team.
- **Product Knowledge and Merchandising**:

- Stay updated on product features, specifications, and promotions to effectively sell to customers.
- Assist with the display, arrangement, and organization of products on the sales floor.
- Ensure that the store is well-stocked and products are displayed attractively to maximize sales.
- **Cash Handling and Transaction Management**:

- Process customer purchases accurately using POS systems and ensure the correct payment is received.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and refunds in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain a balanced cash register and follow procedures for cash handling.
- **Inventory Management**:

- Assist in stock taking and inventory management to ensure the store has sufficient stock.
- Notify the management team of low-stock products and assist with restocking.
- Monitor product levels on the sales floor and back stock to ensure availability.
- **Store Maintenance**:

- Ensure that the store is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Follow store policies regarding store cleanliness and product presentation.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including security protocols.
- **Customer Relationship Management**:

- Build long-term relationships with customers by providing excellent service and follow-up.
- Encourage repeat business and customer loyalty by providing an exceptional in-store experience.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Work effectively with other team members to meet sales goals and create a positive store environment.
- Assist in training new sales staff and share product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving store performance and customer satisfaction.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- **Educational Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business or a related field is a plus.
- **Experience**:

- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Experience with POS systems, cash handling, and sales transactions is a plus.
- **Skills**:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service and build rapport with customers.
- Strong sales skills with the ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of the products being sold (preferred, but training will be provided).

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
