**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Installation & Setup**: Lead the installation, configuration, and commissioning of AV equipment such as video conferencing systems, projectors, digital signage, audio systems, and control systems.
- **Troubleshooting & Support**: Provide on-site and remote technical support for AV-related issues. Resolve complex technical problems efficiently to minimize downtime.
- **Maintenance & Repair**: Conduct regular system checks, preventive maintenance, and repairs of AV systems, ensuring all equipment is functioning optimally.
- **System Integration**: Work closely with other IT departments and third-party vendors to integrate AV systems with existing infrastructure and new technologies.
- **Documentation & Reporting**: Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, troubleshooting guides, and inventory management. Prepare reports on system health and incident resolutions.
- **Customer Training & Support**: Offer training to clients or end-users on how to operate AV systems. Provide guidance on system usage and best practices.
- **Project Assistance**: Assist in the design and implementation of AV solutions for new projects or system upgrades. Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely and successful project completion.
- **Quality Assurance**: Ensure that all AV systems meet company quality standards and industry best practices. Perform system tests to confirm operational performance and quality.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with the AV team, project managers, and clients to meet specific technical requirements and ensure customer satisfaction.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- **Technical Knowledge**: Expertise in the configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of audiovisual equipment (audio, video, lighting, and control systems).
- **Experience**: Minimum of 3+ years of experience in an AV engineering or technical support role. Previous experience in a Level 2 support position is highly desirable.
- **AV Equipment Proficiency**: Knowledge of industry-standard AV systems such as Crestron, Extron, AMX, Polycom, Cisco, Biamp, and similar platforms.
- **Networking**: Familiarity with IP-based AV solutions and basic networking concepts (VLANs, TCP/IP, etc.).
- **Communication Skills**: Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical support, customer interaction, and documentation.
- **Problem-Solving**: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve complex AV issues.
- **Certifications**: AVIXA CTS or equivalent certifications are a plus.
- **Customer Focus**: Ability to deliver excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients.
- **Physical Requirements**: Ability to lift and move AV equipment, and work in various environments (e.g., conference rooms, event venues).
