**Job Title: Sous Chef**
**Location**: Patna Bihar

**Reports to**: Head Chef / Executive Chef
**Employment Type**: Full-Time
**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist the Head Chef in planning and directing food preparation and culinary activities.
- Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate their duties to ensure smooth workflow and service.
- Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation standards are met.
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate in ordering and receiving supplies.
- Enforce health and safety regulations and maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene.
- Train, mentor, and develop junior kitchen staff.
- Support in menu development and cost control initiatives.
- Step in and manage the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence.
**Qualifications & Skills**:
- Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a professional kitchen, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or Sous Chef role.
- Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen sanitation standards.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
- Creativity and passion for food, with a keen sense of taste and presentation.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
