Strong proficiency in **MS Excel** and accounting software (Tally / Zoho Books / ERP).
**Job Summary**:
Celes'tile is hiring a **Finance / Accounts Executive (Female)** with strong accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. The role demands expertise in financial reporting, compliance, and ERP systems, with a hands-on approach to handling accounts and operations in a fast-paced luxury home décor environment.
**Roles and Responsibilities**:
- **Accounts Management**:
- Record day-to-day financial transactions in the accounting system.
- Handle journal entries, ledger postings, and ensure accurate maintenance of books as per applicable accounting standards.
- Maintain ledgers, journals, and cash books.
- **Accounts Receivable & Payable (AR/AP)**:
- Generate customer invoices, monitor outstanding receivables, and follow up on collections.
- Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.
- Reconcile vendor accounts and manage credit/debit notes.
- Monitor aging reports and escalate overdue payments as needed.
- **Banking & Cash Flow Management**:
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and cash book updates.
- Handle NEFT/RTGS transactions and monitor online payments.
- Assist in managing daily cash flow and fund allocation.
- **Taxation & Statutory Compliance**:
- Prepare and file GST and TDS returns on a monthly/quarterly basis.
- Assist in PF, ESI, and professional tax filings in coordination with consultants.
- Ensure all statutory dues are paid accurately and on time.
- **Financial Reporting & MIS**:
- Generate monthly Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.
- Maintain expense records and support variance analysis against budgets.
- Create MIS dashboards and support management in decision-making.
- **Payroll Coordination**:
- Assist in payroll processing and maintain salary registers.
- Handle statutory deductions (PF, ESI, PT) and reimbursements.
- Maintain employee leave and attendance data related to payroll.
- **Audit Support**:
- Prepare and compile audit schedules and required financial documents.
- Coordinate with statutory and internal auditors.
- Address audit observations and ensure compliance.
- **Inventory & Asset Accounting** _(if applicable)_
- Coordinate with the stores team to reconcile inventory periodically.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and calculate depreciation.
- Support physical verification of assets and stock.
- **ERP & Excel Skills**:
- Operate accounting software like Tally, Zoho Books, or any ERP system.
- Use advanced Excel functions such as VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF conditions, and data validation for reporting and analysis.
- **Cross-Functional Coordination**:
- Collaborate with sales, procurement, and operations teams to streamline billing, payments, and cost allocations.
- Ensure accurate and timely flow of financial data across departments.
- **Work Discipline & Flexibility**:
- Maintain confidentiality of financial data and adhere to company policies.
- Willingness to extend working hours during month-end closures, audits, or special assignments.
