**Job Description: Network Technician**

**Responsibilities**:

- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
- Perform regular network maintenance, including firmware updates and hardware inspections.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot network issues to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- Set up and manage structured cabling and patch panels for network installations.
- Monitor network performance using tools and promptly address performance bottlenecks.
- Ensure network security by implementing firewalls, access controls, and security protocols.
- Assist in the deployment and configuration of VLANs and subnetting as required.
- Collaborate with the IT team to support system upgrades, migrations, and new installations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of network layouts, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
- Provide end-user support for connectivity-related issues and educate users on basic troubleshooting.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Networking, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role as a Network Technician or related position.
- Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS etc.).
- Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting network devices (e.g., Cisco, Aruba, or similar).
- **Telecommunication Systems**: Experience with PRI, SIP trunks, and PSTN integration with IP-PBX systems.
- Strong understanding of structured cabling, network layouts, and hardware setup.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and end-users.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Certifications such as CompTIA Network+or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Experience with wireless networks and IoT device connectivity.
- Knowledge of network monitoring and automation tools.
- Familiarity with VoIP and advanced networking solutions.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
