**Job Title: Computer Lab Technician**

**Position Type**: Full-time

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Monitor and maintain all computer lab equipment, including computers, printers, and software.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for students and staff.
- Assist in the setup and configuration of new computers and peripherals.
- Ensure the computer lab is organized, clean, and conducive to learning.
- Provide technical support and guidance to students during lab sessions.
- Collaborate with teachers to integrate technology into the curriculum.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report on equipment needs.
- Implement and enforce lab policies and procedures to ensure a safe and productive environment.
- Stay updated on the latest technology trends and educational software relevant to the curriculum.

**Qualifications**:

- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Proven experience in a technical support role, preferably in an educational environment.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students and staff.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with educational software and online learning platforms.
- Familiarity with maintaining and troubleshooting Mac and Windows operating systems.
- Certification in relevant technology or IT support (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+).
