We are looking for a hands-on IT Technician with hands-on experience setting up, securing and enabling IT infrastructure including corporate systems and individual workstations.

**Responsibilities**
- Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers etc.)
- Check computer hardware (HDD, mouses, keyboards etc.) to ensure functionality
- Experience setting up firewalls, switches, routers etc.
- Experience in supporting Microsoft Active Directory (AD), Windows Server and Linux Server platforms
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, NAT, and the OSI Model
- Experience in and/or strong knowledge of Identity Access Management (IAM), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Single Sign-On (SSO) platforms and services
- Experience with SOC and ISO/IEC 27000 series frameworks
- Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications
- Develop and maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance
- Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
- Strives to resolve malware and virus issues within personal workstations and a company's network
- Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment
- Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work
- Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc.)
- Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule
- Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders
- Up-to-date knowledge of new systems, information, software, and upgrades
- Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift equipment
- Assist with compliance and security audits of internal systems, processes and policies
- Develop IT policies and procedures for the company

**Qualifications**
- 5-8 years of experience in a similar role
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and presentation
- Excellent organization and time-management skills
- In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks
- Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
- Proficient with Windows, Linux, MAC and OS

One or more certifications:

- MCE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert)
- MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional)
- HDI-Support Technician Certifications
- CompTIA A+/Network+, Cisco and Microsoft certifications.
- ITIL Foundation

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
