- Act as ‘chief of staff’ for OILT (One India Lead Team) by overseeing lead team meetings/off-sites, site visits, critical activities, and processes, ensuring follow-up on actions - which includes consolidation of all activities for Lilly sites across India
- Act as ‘chief of staff’ for Lilly commercial site by overseeing lead team meetings/off-sites, site visits, critical activities, and processes, ensuring follow-up on actions
- Steward governance of India to ensure compliance, agility and execution to drive the most important work
- Monitor the progress on milestones and take action to escalate/remove barriers.
- Drive connectivity between sites in India to ensure alignment on strategic objectives
- Proactively assess strategic and capability gaps / opportunities across India and partner with OILT members to drive improvement
- Ensure thorough and meaningful measurement and analytics on key questions to help drive our business and better serve our customers
- Coordinate with India functions to ensure key organizational policies/processes are followed
- In partnership with finance and brand teams, oversee the annual strategic planning and business plan processes
- Align and represent cross Business Unit efforts and Corporate/Global initiatives - act as single point of contact across enterprise
- Lead and coordinate efforts to deliver a robust internal operational scorecard (quarterly scorecard) across all functions and geographies within IBU
- Partner with GM and LT members to ensure alignment of business priorities
- Lead and manage special projects

**Basic Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree, with 5+ years of relevant experience or advanced degree.
- Demonstrated experience in converting strategies into actionable steps, building governance systems that ensure execution with excellence.
- Experience working effectively in a highly changing and dynamic environment, demonstrating ability to learn and adjust quickly, and bring others along when designing or implementing new ideas.
- Experience in defining and executing continuous improvement and/or automation programs to drive improved business outcomes.
- Business Knowledge - includes value added perspective, financial awareness and cost control, industry knowledge, strategic focus, diverse business experience.
- Communicate (written and orally) in a highly effective way with Senior Leaders - focusing on content, outcomes and value relevant to business leaders.
