We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of** - Chief Control Office, Business Risk Centre Of Excellence.**

**Principal responsibilities**
- Risk Committee coordination - pack production, scheduling and diary management for the meetings & pre-meetings, timely meeting minute issuance.
- Management Information (MI) pack coordination - prepare/review/interpret Management Information across risk typologies for Commercial Banking business line. Presenting Management Information and status on risk and control related topics to Commercial Banking teams and stakeholders globally
- Provide proactive guidance and support to stakeholders regarding the management of non-financial risk.
- Develop and maintain effective Risk Profile Management which includes proactive management of live business risks, Risk Control Assessment support, independent validation of continuous monitoring plans and KRI monitoring. Continuous monitoring - review of Management I, commentary, qualitive documentation of control descriptions and monitoring results, trending, analysis, and timely escalations.
- Actively develop key relationships across Chief Operating Office globally to support the promotion of an effective and forward-looking risk Non Financial Risk management framework and culture.
- Management of Issues, Actions, Risk and Control Assessments for regions/markets covered.
- Identify and share Non Financial Risk management best practice across Wholesale Chief Operating Office, crucially to engage with the wider Centre Of Excellence to drive efficiencies and replay innovation back into Chief Control Office globally.
- Actively contribute towards the management of Residual Risk to within risk appetite across the global Commercial Banking estate.
- Build and maintain open and proactive working relationships with the various Commercial Banking Chief Control Office partners coordinating and sharing best practice.
- Thematic and forward-looking reporting insight across the Non Financial Risk landscape.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of the operational risk & control environment and disciplines.
- Adequate understanding of the Group’s Non-Financial Risk Framework.
- Strong verbal & written communication skills that translates to communicating ideas clearly and influence a wide range of stakeholders (senior and junior)
- Ability to work independently, multi-task, filter information and prioritize multiple demands
- Capacity to process high volumes of complex information and translate into key themes and issues
- Comfortable with working within a matrix organizational environment
- Strong understanding of technology, regulatory landscape and information security risk/control disciplines
- A sound knowledge of the Group and a high level awareness of Private Side businesses
- Ability to prioritise and work independently under pressure within a team environment.
- Ability to resolve complex problems whilst adhering to timelines and quality
- Extremely keen eye for detail. Organized and logical thinker.
