**Regional Financial Controller - APAC**

As the finance leader for APAC you will ensure that Barracuda has the systems and procedures in place to support effective program implementation, give full visibility and projections to the team, maintain strong operating controls, and produce flawless audits. and work very closely with the Global Controller, Tax, FP&A, Legal, HR and IT.

Reporting to the Worldwide Finance Controller, your role as Finance Controller for APAC, is to provide leadership and responsibility for all day-to-day operations of Corporate and International Accounting function. As a leader you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of global accounting and financial reporting by providing leadership, business collaboration, process knowledge and technical expertise.

**What you’ll be working on**
- Daily management/oversight of accounting operations (including treasury/banking) for APAC region.
- Managing team of two (2) experienced accountants in Bangalore (covering India and Australia).
- Managing relationship with outsourced bookkeeping/accounting services in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, China, Japan.
- US GAAP compliance of all accounting operations.
- Timely close of accounting books on monthly basis.
- Periodic review of all bank accounts and ensuring compliance with all relevant rules and regulations.
- Compliance with local statutory financial reporting requirements.
- Primary contact with external auditors for local statutory audits (timing coordination, accounts and documents preparation, issuance of final reports, etc.).
- Compliance with local tax rules and regulations, including payments and reporting.
- In coordination with Vice President of Tax at corporate, compliance with transfer pricing regulations.
- Accurate and timely intercompany invoicing.
- Monitor and coordinate monthly intercompany funding transactions.
- Manage RMA (Return Material Authorization) process for appliance (equipment) replacements for customers.
- Ad-hoc projects as requested by US corporate office/management.

**What you bring to the role**
- Bachelor’s degree (finance or accounting) required. Master’s degree is desirable.
- Professional certification (certified/chartered accountant) is required.
- 10+ years of experience in accounting/finance field.
- 5+ years of managerial experience.
- Strong English language (written and spoken) proficiency.
- Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) proficiency.
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP. Implementation experience is desirable.
- Working knowledge of, and experience with, statutory accounting and tax rules/regulations and reporting in India (Indian Accounting Standards).
- Self-starter, ability to work with mínimal supervision.
- Ability to multi-task, and work and deliver results under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work across diverse teams/functions.
