Good experience in customs/trade compliance who can manage day-to-day operations, manage Customs inquiry/inspections/investigations, shipment issues

**Job Description**:

- Support sites/divisions, importing/exporting operational activities and communicate with site’s customs brokers to resolve day-to-day issues that may result in border delays.

Import & Export activities (for example):

- Receive shipment pre-alert, review shipping documents for completeness & accuracy. Resolve documentation issue, support collection or determination of missing data (COO, value, HS code) from Global Trade Compliance team (GTC)/system.
- Provide missing data to Customs Broker/Agent.
- Provide declaration/clearance instructions to Customs Broker/Agent.
- Obtain Bills of Entry/Export for record keeping (together with the other shipping docs - Air Waybill, Packing List, Invoice).
- Conduct post entry/export audit of transactions to verify the accuracy of trade compliance elements lodged with the local customs authorities and identify any compliance risks. Escalate identified compliance risks to GTC Manager. Work with Customs Agent/Broker for necessary amendment to the import/export entry.
- Liaise with customs agents/brokers to capture trade metrics for tracking and reporting to AbbVie’s system.
- Monitor trade compliance regulatory and legislative changes and alert the GTC Manager on the impact to the business.

**Job Type**: Contractual / Temporary

**Salary**: ₹50,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month

- Bangalore, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- total work: 2 years (preferred)
- Customs Clearance: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English Kannada Hindi (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 50% (preferred)
