- Guest Service & Satisfaction: Greet guests upon arrival, escort them to their tables, and ensure they are seated comfortably.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and ensure they are resolved promptly.
- Supervise, train, and motivate front-of-house staff, including servers, bartenders, and hosts.
- Assign tasks and manage staff shifts to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide support and guidance to the team during service, ensuring they adhere to proper service etiquette.
- Conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate the day's specials, events, or any service updates.
- Ensure that all food and beverage are served to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Monitor the timing of food and drink orders, ensuring prompt service.
- Conduct routine checks to ensure cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
- Enforce adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure orders are processed and delivered efficiently.
- Oversee the management of guest reservations and ensure seating arrangements are optimized.
- Ensure that the service flow runs smoothly, especially during peak hours.
- Upsell food and beverage items when appropriate, enhancing the guest experience and boosting sales.
- Promote and educate guests on daily specials, signature dishes, and drinks.
- Handle transactions and process payments accurately.
- Maintain records of daily operations, guest feedback, and any issues that arise.
- Report to the F&B Manager or Supervisor on daily performance, staffing, and inventory needs.
- Assist in stock and inventory management as required.
- Ensure the restaurant maintains hygiene and cleanliness standards at all times.
- Follow all workplace health and safety policies and ensure the team is trained in these protocol.
