**Your role in the Team**:
You will have exposure to all the areas of Finance & Accounts, which will help you to progress fast in your career. Join our welcoming Finance team, where you will be reporting directly to the Finance Controller in India and will have opportunity to collaborate with other departments. Assistant Financial Controller will be responsible to assist the Financial Controller for all the financial and accounting matters.

**What you’ll need for this role**:

- Chartered Accountant qualification degree preferred
- High level of digital proficiency with great analytical and problem-solving skills
- Extensive knowledge of accounting standards, fiscal procedures and applicable tax codes
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Experience 2-4 years

**What you’ll do**:
Assistant Financial Controller will be responsible for local statutory and tax compliances.

Play a key role to liaise with auditors pertaining to statutory audits, GST Audits & Tax Audits, year end financial statement preparation and related schedules independently
- Ensure the month end close is line with global finance reporting timetable, reviewing to ensure all the Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss accounts are reconciled on timely basis and the transactions are coded accurately in line with local accounting policies
- Key areas and responsibilities will include managing filing of statutory returns for GST, Income Tax, STPI, TDS & MSME, RBI, FEMA etc., including tax assessments.
- Ensure that the accounting is up to date as per local GAAP

Contribute to Ad hoc projects and analysis as required

Independently handle the transfer pricing calculations and support the TP audits and assessments

Independently handle and support other activities pertaining to Corporate cards management, Asset insurance, fixed assets verification and treasury functions.
