**Job Title: Finance Controller**

**Reports To: General Manager / Regional Finance Director**

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Financial Management**:
**Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.**

**Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.**

**Monitor financial performance and provide insights to optimize profitability.**

**2. Budgeting and Forecasting**:
**Prepare annual budgets and rolling forecasts in collaboration with department heads.**

**Analyze variances between actual results and budgeted/forecasted figures, providing actionable recommendations.**

**3. Accounting Operations**:
**Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash management.**

**Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.**

**4. Internal Controls and Compliance**:
**Implement and maintain effective internal control systems to safeguard the hotel's assets.**

**Ensure compliance with local tax laws, regulatory requirements, and company policies.**

**Coordinate audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.**

**5. Cost Control**:
**Monitor and control costs to maximize profitability without compromising service quality.**

**Analyze operational expenses and recommend cost-saving initiatives.**

**6. Team Management**:
**Lead and manage the finance team, providing training, guidance, and support to ensure high performance.**

**Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.**

**7. Strategic Support**:
**Collaborate with the General Manager and department heads to develop and implement financial strategies.**

**Provide financial analysis to support decision-making in areas such as pricing, capital investments, and revenue management.**

**8. Cash Flow and Asset Management**:
**Monitor cash flow to ensure the hotel meets its financial obligations.**

**Oversee asset management, including the maintenance and safeguarding of fixed assets.**

**9. Stakeholder Communication**:
**Prepare financial reports and presentations for stakeholders, including ownership, corporate offices, and regulatory authorities.**

**Serve as the primary point of contact for financial matters.**

**Qualifications**:
**Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, ACCA, or CMA certification preferred).**

**Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.**

**Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and hotel operations.**

**Proficiency in financial management software and hotel property management systems (e.g., Opera, SAP, or SunSystems).**

**Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.**

**Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.**

**Key Competencies**:

**Knowledge of local tax regulations and compliance requirements.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
