
Reservations Supervisor

Reservations Supervisor oversees the reservations team to ensure smooth and efficient handling of guest bookings, optimizing revenue opportunities while maintaining excellent customer service standards. This role requires a blend of operational expertise, leadership skills, and an understanding of revenue management strategies to support the hotel's goals.
**Key Responsibilities:Operational Duties**
- **Manage Reservations Process**:
- Oversee daily operations of the reservations team, ensuring timely and accurate booking entries.
- Monitor room availability and ensure accurate inventory updates.
- Manage group reservations and communicate with the sales and events teams.
- **Guest Interaction**:
- Handle VIP bookings and special requests, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Resolve guest complaints and booking-related issues promptly and professionally.
- **System Management**:
- Ensure all reservation systems (PMS, channel managers, OTA platforms) are functioning correctly.
- Update rates, promotions, and packages in coordination with the Revenue Manager.
**Leadership and Team Management**
- **Team Supervision**:
- Lead, train, and motivate the reservations team to achieve departmental goals.
- Monitor staff performance and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- **Communication**:
- Act as a liaison between the reservations team, sales, revenue management, and front office.
- Ensure the team is informed about current promotions, events, and changes in procedures.
- **Scheduling**:
- Create and manage work schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak times.
**Revenue Optimization and Reporting**
- **Revenue Management**:
- Assist the Revenue Manager in forecasting and implementing pricing strategies.
- Monitor and report on booking patterns, market trends, and competitor rates.
- **Reporting**:
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on reservations statistics and team performance.
- Provide data-driven insights to management for strategic planning.
**Key Competencies**:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficient in hotel management software and reservation systems (e.g., Opera, Amadeus, etc.).
- Sound understanding of revenue management principles and yield strategies.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills with a customer-focused approach.
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- **Education**: Diploma or degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Minimum 2-3 years in a similar role or in hotel reservations/revenue management.
- **Skills**: Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with OTA channels and global distribution systems (GDS).
**Work Environment**:
- Fast-paced, guest-centric, and team-oriented atmosphere.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
