
Japanese & Korean Chef

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Prepare and cook a variety of authentic Japanese and Korean dishes, including sushi, sashimi, ramen, tempura, bibimbap, bulgogi, kimchi, and more.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
- Oversee kitchen operations, inventory, and daily prep related to Japanese & Korean menu items.
- Train and supervise junior kitchen staff in proper techniques and hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with management to develop seasonal or special menus.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.
- Maintain consistency and authenticity in all dishes served.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a Japanese or Korean chef in a professional kitchen.
- Expertise in traditional Japanese and/or Korean cooking techniques.
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of ingredient handling.
- Creativity in presentation and plating.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
- Culinary certification or relevant training is a plus.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Flexibility with shifts, including weekends and holidays.
