**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities:Academic & Instructional Duties**:

- Deliver curriculum-based Geography lessons as per academic standards (CBSE/ICSE/State Board).
- Design and implement lesson plans, worksheets, and assessments tailored to the learning needs of students from grades 6 to 10.
- Use a variety of instructional strategies, including experiential learning, case studies, maps, GIS tools (if applicable), and interactive classroom techniques.
- Ensure coverage of topics such as physical geography, human geography, map reading, environmental studies, disaster management, etc.
- Integrate the use of digital tools and resources like smartboards, projectors, and educational apps into classroom instruction.

**Assessment & Student Progress**:

- Prepare students for internal and board examinations through regular practice tests, quizzes, and model papers.
- Track and document student progress and maintain comprehensive academic records.
- Offer timely, constructive feedback and academic support for students to improve performance.
- Design geography-related projects, assignments, and field-based tasks to promote hands-on learning.

**Student Engagement & Development**:

- Encourage student participation in geography-related clubs, events, Olympiads, quizzes, and exhibitions.
- Organize field trips, nature walks, or geography explorations to give practical exposure to students.
- Promote awareness of climate change, sustainability, resource conservation, and global citizenship.
- Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment conducive to inquiry and collaboration.

**Collaboration & School Participation**:

- Work closely with fellow educators in planning integrated lessons and interdisciplinary projects.
- Attend staff meetings, curriculum planning sessions, and school development programs.
- Engage in parent-teacher meetings and communicate student progress and concerns effectively.
- Participate in school functions, annual days, exhibitions, and other co-curricular activities.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
