**Job Description: TGT History**

As a TGT History teacher, you will be responsible for teaching History to students in classes 6 to 10, following the ICSE/ISC curriculum. You will use various teaching methods, technologies, and resources to make History engaging and accessible, tailoring your approach to meet the diverse learning needs and abilities of your students. Maintaining English speaking environment inside the classroom and within the campus is the first and foremost responsibility of a TGT.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan and deliver effective History lessons for classes 6 to 10 in line with the ICSE/ISC syllabus.
- Use diverse teaching techniques, including lectures, discussions, multimedia, and interactive activities, to make History interesting and relatable.
- Assess and monitor students' academic progress through regular assignments, tests, and projects.
- Provide regular feedback to students on their progress and offer guidance for improvement.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and active participation.
- Participate in school activities, extracurricular events, and co-curricular programs.
- Communicate with parents regarding students' performance and behavior as needed.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the History curriculum.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in History or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- B.Ed. degree with teaching experience, preferably in the ICSE/ISC curriculum.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- A passion for teaching History and inspiring students to explore the past.
- Ability to engage students and develop a deeper understanding of historical events and concepts.
