Key Responsibilities:
1. Design & Drafting:

- Develop detailed MEP system designs using CAD (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
- Create technical drawings, schematics, and layouts for HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Ensure designs comply with industry standards, local codes, and project requirements.

2. Coordination & Collaboration:

- Work closely with architects, structural engineers, and other design professionals.
- Coordinate MEP systems to avoid clashes and ensure seamless integration within the building structure.
- Attend meetings with clients, contractors, and project teams to discuss design progress and modifications.

3. Technical Analysis & Calculations:

- Perform load calculations for HVAC, electrical distribution, and plumbing systems.
- Evaluate energy efficiency and sustainability considerations in MEP designs.
- Select appropriate materials and equipment based on project requirements.

4. Compliance & Quality Control:

- Ensure designs adhere to building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Conduct quality checks on drawings and specifications.
- Assist in obtaining necessary permits and approvals for MEP systems.

5. Site Visits & Support:

- Provide technical support during construction and installation phases.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure MEP systems are installed as per design.
- Assist in resolving on-site design issues and making necessary adjustments

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Education & Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
- 5-8 years of experience in MEP design and drafting.

Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and other design software.
- Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Understanding of building codes, NFPA, ASHRAE,ISHRAE,SMACNA, NEC, BIS, NBC and other relevant standards.
- Experience with energy efficiency and sustainable design practices is a plus.
