Introduction
- The AV Technician’s prime function is to provide AV technical support across all meeting rooms.
- Video/audio conference setup and support. Best efforts should be made to ensure all sites are connected on time and receiving/transmitting good audio/video.
- Supports internal and external events. Assists or coordinates the provision of support for internal and external high priority events
- Assist with support for video/audio conferencing problems. Investigate faults and recommend further actions to rectify.
- AV equipment setup and support.
- Presentation/multi-media meeting room support, including duration support.
- Assist with support for multi-media broadcasting.
- Quick response to emergency/ad-hoc requests.
- Assist where possible with IT related enquiries during supports. Escalate issues if required.

What will you be doing?
- Strong customer service skills and experience within a high-profile environment
- Ensure all multi-media/presentation rooms are maintained in good working order.
- Carry out regular preventative room checks, ensuring all equipment functions correctly in accordance with the room check procedure.
- Carries out Return Material Authorization (RMA) procedures with suppliers for any faulty equipment
- Ensure that all faults are reported in the correct way and in a timely manner.
- Proactive maintenance/reporting to ensure all AV equipment is always of the highest standard and functioning correctly. Ability to interface well with clients and peers effectively.
- Maintaining a good working relationship with global AV/VC/TP counterparts.
- Provide feedback on communication issues and service improvements.
- Focus on service/operational issues for review.
- Assist with training of new starters and freelancers.
- Build and maintain client relationships.
- Be flexible and assist the team in all areas of the development.
- Excellent telephone techniques and manner
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage several projects simultaneously.

What we’re looking for:

- Proven experience within the corporate streaming field in a client facing role
- Able to work individually or as part of a team
- Methodical, structured, and self-motivated with excellent organisational skills
- Experience with the latest digital media, compression, and transmission technologies
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Strong oral and written communication in both formal and informal settings, and at all levels of seniority.
- Excellent presentation skills during regular interactions with stakeholders and colleagues. Be able to present fact/evidence and validate demand to provide solutions
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience using content management systems well as cloud based streaming platforms
- Must be willing to work flexible, 8 hour shifts within client’s business hours (Monday - Friday 09:00-21:00hrs)
- Strong customer focus and understanding the sensitivities of working with clients.
- Must be able to prioritise and multi-task.
- Work with clients to trouble shoot issues, test services, and manage expectations

Skills that will help you in the role:

- AV Certification like CTS/CVE/Cisco certifications is preferred
- Working within a large financial services organisation or other regulated industry
- Experience of working in a global organi
