Assistant Security Officer

Responsibilities: Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure the safety and protection of personnel and assets.Monitor and control access to the premises, preventing unauthorized entry and ensuring the security of the facility.Conduct regular patrols to identify and respond to any security breaches, suspicious activities, or safety hazards.Maintain and operate security systems and equipment, such as CCTV cameras, alarms, and access control systems.Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure security measures align with business operations.Train and educate employees on security awareness, emergency response procedures, and evacuation plans.Investigate and document incidents, accidents, or any security-related concerns, providing accurate and detailed reports.Liaise with external law enforcement agencies and emergency services when necessary, coordinating responses to incidents.Stay updated on the latest security threats, trends, and technologies, recommending improvements to enhance security measures.Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate mitigation strategies to reduce vulnerabilities.
- Requirements: Ex-Army personnel preferred, with a strong background in security and defense.Prior experience in corporate security, physical security, or asset protection.Knowledge of security risk management frameworks and methodologies.Experience with incident response and crisis management.Familiarity with access control systems and security technologies.Excellent knowledge of security protocols, procedures, and best practices.Exceptional situational awareness and ability to make quick and sound decisions in high-pressure situations.Strong physical fitness and ability to perform security-related tasks, including patrols and emergency response.Proficient in using security equipment and systems, such as CCTV, access control systems, and alarm systems.Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse individuals.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive and preventive approach to security.High level of integrity, honesty, and professionalism, maintaining confidentiality and exercising good judgment.Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating leadership qualities.
