**Job Purpose**
- Lead business outcome driven technology transformation initiatives that would be needed to achieve & strengthen the organization strategy/vision around cost, customer experience and market leadership
- Demonstrate the capability to operate at all levels of seniority and create compelling communications that meet the disparate needs of the stakeholder groups, underpinned by solid methodology based structured approach that yields up tangible architectural artefacts and deliverables.
- Evaluate new technologies and best tools and techniques to design transformation strategy, architecture and roadmap policies, processes and guidelines to ensure smooth transformation journey
- Build and evolve the maturity of architecture communications, awareness of the architecture repository and undertake appropriate communications and engagement management across all stakeholders
- Partner with business teams to define new efficient business models/propositions
- Develop strategic partnership with Key solution provider/vendors/Partners and System Integrator and drive them to deliver on agreed roadmap
- Plan and drive effective use of IT budget
- Inculcate unconstrained thought process to innovate thru “fry fast fail fast” methods

**Key Result Areas/Accountabilities**
- Establish Transformational programs Practice to manage and govern IT transformation projects
- Align the overall technology strategy & architecture to organization strategy; ensure all domain specific strategy & architecture are aligned to overall strategy & architectural vision
- Keep abreast with Emerging technologies, frameworks and methodologies
- White paper on potential business exploits of an emerging technologies
- Conduct seminars or workshops with senior management, functional head and internal stakeholder to explore new opportunities using new technologies and showcase business values
- Preparing scope, budget, project & execution plan for POC and publish outcomes
- Showcase and evangelize the Agile delivery framework and tailor working models, processes, techniques and tools to make it operational
- Define the short-term (1-2years) & long-term (3-5years) strategy & roadmap for all Telecom technology domains across all product lines prepaid, post-paid, enterprise, M2M, IOT/E, fixed line etc.
- Lead in RFP/RFQ/RFI preparations, vendor proposal and reviews, ensure technologies selected are future fit.
- Define & own the architectural principles & guidelines for the entire technology landscape. Govern architectural audits conducted by respective domains specialist detailing gaps & the initiatives to accomplish desired maturity level

**Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience**
- Strong knowledge of enterprise telecom business domain, e2e business processes and IT mapping of the same across BSS, OSS and Enterprise landscape
- Well acquainted with Telecom eTOM framework and Vodafone telecom framework (CORBA), TOGAF, Frameworks and other open or industry strategic and architectures frameworks
- Ability to understand the organization priorities and align the overall desired technology strategy & architecture to achieve the business vision
- Ability to guide & develop long-term strategy & architectural vision, guide gap identification and develop transition plans towards the targeted strategy
- Ability to directly impact and influence the creation and maintenance of strategic and transition architectures that support the needs of Product Management and the various Enterprise Business Units.
- Ability to demonstrate and provide technical leadership and guidance to technical teams with appropriate architectural intervention promoting scalable implementation
