Project Overview:
Major Duties:
- Conducts feasibility studies ,defines and designs system requirements for complex data processing projects.- Responsible for handling and resolving production issues, developing enhancements, upgrades, and offer expert advice and direction to business partner.- Strong knowledge and experience in SQL programming. Able to write simple and complex queries independently.-
- Experience in Hyperion smart view, able to create excel reports for users. Good experience in Microsoft excels functions. Provide technical support to end users to trouble shoot smart view issues and basic data issues.-
- Experience in job monitoring tools like BMC ControlM, track ITSM tickets in service now on daily basis, create changes in ITSM Service now tool.- Maintain Hierarchy and Dimension through DRM for HFM- Available for support during critical month end close process and quarter end process and responsible for resolving production issues.-
- Define the overall solution for large and complex systems during the business requirement gathering process, functional specifications phase and leverage advantages of time zones for its support. Managing execution of solutions and supporting quality assurance processes.- Prepares and review project phase reports, including requirements, feasibility, definition, and design and evaluate production impact and support requirements.- Responsible for translating business needs into sound technical solutions. Work closely with the functional staff to determine the appropriate technical solution to client requests for change.- Produce detailed technical designs to meet user requirements and development standards. Develops or maintains computer programs including designing, coding, testing, debugging, and installation as needed.- Consults with partners from systems and other business units regarding new techniques, practices, or technologies in data processing and the impact of proposed and ongoing projects-
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Experience:
- A College or University degree in Computer Science- 5 - 8 years of IT experience- 5+ years of experience in in Hyperion Application Support- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills- Technical and developmental knowledge of Hyperion Planning and Essbase- Knowledge of Hyperion Planning models, Essbase, and EPMA- Experience in Hyperion Planning 11.1.2.4 is preferred- Experience in HFM ( Hyperion Financial Management 11.2)- Experience in DRM ( Data Relationship Manager)- Experience in FDMEE ( Financial Data Quality Management Enterprise Edition)- Experience in Hyperion Financial reporting (HFR)- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Background in Financial Services or in Finance is preferred- Working different shifts on rotational basis to provide production support
