**Role**:
**The Key Responsibilities of the role include**:

- Review and analyze production issues. Provide support for functional and technical queries support raised by internal teams and external clients.
- Assess impacts and resolve the issue ahead of any SLA misses.
- Coordinate and escalate with other IT teams which may include Development Team, Database Team, Infrastructure Team to resolve the issue.
- Work closely with other IT teams to identify the root cause analysis and implement a preventative measures so that the issue does not reoccur.
- Interact and liaise with IT and external vendors to resolve issues/defects in a timely fashion
- Ensure all queries and issues are investigated and resolved with urgency, providing sufficient details while closing the request.
- Provide analysis and takes ownership in providing regular and high quality updates to stakeholders on the progress of the issue/incidents including SLA breaches.
- Execute test cases for production issues (manual or automated) and review results for Transfer Agency Applications and troubleshoot defects
- Testing of Patch Releases, Upgrades & Hot Fixes MFTA. Good understanding of Multifonds Transfer Agency functionality, data flows & business Data attributes. Knowledge of the complete end to end Software Testing Life cycle. Test Planning, Test Management and Test Execution.
- Interact and liaise with IT and external vendors to communicate and resolve fixes/scripts in a timely fashion
- Planning the Releases of the hot fixes & patches to Production which includes preparation of Runbook, Adhering to Tech Change Management Process & Post Implementation validation, coordination with ITSM team, Environment Manager Business & Tech Stakeholders for smooth timely implementation.
- Support scheduled weekend activities such as Bug fix, Hot fix and Major releases.

**Skills/Experience Required**:

- Experience in data extraction using SQL, project management and QA methodology.
- Familiar with platforms like Unix, Linux with knowledge in shell scripting, Ctrl M Jobs, test tools.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks, testing guidelines, regression testing
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors/defects
- Excellent communication skills and Attention to detail
- Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
- Strong organizational skills
- A good understanding of the Multifonds platform, Overall experience of** **4 to 6 years of which minimum 3 years of Operational/ Testing experience in Transfer Agency department** is required.
- SQL/PLSQL certification, ISTQB certification, CCBA, CBAP or other BA certification would be added advantage.
