Purchase Assistant

We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Purchase Assistant to join our team in Vellomburam, Malappuram, Kerala. The Purchase Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring that our inventory levels meet the demands of our retail operations while maintaining the highest standards of quality and cost-effectiveness.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the procurement of furniture and related materials.
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate prices, and secure favorable terms.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
- Ensure all purchases comply with the company's policies and budgetary constraints.
- Evaluate and monitor supplier performance, quality of goods, and delivery schedules.
- Assist in preparing and processing purchase orders and invoices.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on trends, pricing, and new products.
- Support the purchasing manager in daily administrative tasks and other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Proven experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably in the furniture or retail industry.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and purchasing software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Fluent in English and Malayalam; knowledge of Kannada is a plus.
- Knowledge of market research and data analysis.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
