**Purpose**:
Responsible for acquiring and analyzing internal and external market information to provide inputs to the senior management in planning, product development and facilitate effective business decision making

**What you will do everyday**
- **Operational**
- Ensure the timely execution of various market research and market intelligence studies for effective business decision making including reports on the following:

- Macroeconomic indicators and external business environment
- Global and Indian Express logistics industry
- Competition monitoring & analysis
- Regulatory trends etc.
- Responsible for scanning environment for business intelligence through external and internal research, competitor intelligence etc. and present findings to the senior management
- Work closely with the Manager - Market Research & Business Analysis and Chief Commercial Officer in developing the marketing, sales and business strategy for Blue Dart by providing critical inputs (based on extensive market research)
- Ensure the conduct of business specific research in terms of market potential, competitor strategies, pricing, service offerings etc. and report the same to the senior management team.
- Preparing monthly performance analysis report, indicating detailed performance month on month basis, with respect to products, sectors, levers, etc.
- Support in preparation of various management presentations (Country Business Review, Commercial Review, etc) for senior management review meetings
- Planning and supporting in execution of various strategic projects, such as Market Sizing, Customer Surveys, etc. through appropriate coordination with the external market research agency

**Reporting structure**
Work closely with the Manager - Market Research & Business Analysis and Chief Commercial Officer
