**Job Overview**:
A **Market Research Associate** with 3 months to 1 year of experience typically takes on tasks that help support the analysis and interpretation of market data to help guide business decisions.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Data Collection and Research**:

- Assist in gathering quantitative and qualitative data through surveys, interviews, and focus groups.
- Utilize secondary research methods, including reviewing reports, articles, and databases.

**Data Analysis**:

- Analyze collected data to identify trends, patterns, and insights using basic statistical techniques.
- Work with more experienced analysts or researchers to interpret the data and present findings.

**Report Preparation**:

- Help in preparing reports, presentations, and infographics to communicate research findings.
- Summarize insights in ways that are actionable and understandable for stakeholders.

**Competitor and Industry Analysis**:

- Support in conducting competitive analysis by gathering data on competitors' strategies, products, and market share.
- Research market trends and developments relevant to the business.

**Client Interaction**:

- Assist in presenting data and findings to internal teams or clients under the guidance of senior team members.
- Gather feedback on the research process and results.

**Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams**:

- Work with marketing, product, and sales teams to help align research findings with business strategies.
- Support the development of strategies based on market insights.

**Required Skills**:

- **Research Methods**: Basic understanding of primary and secondary research methods.
- **Data Analysis Tools**: Familiarity with Excel, SPSS, Tableau, or other analysis tools.
- **Attention to Detail**: Accuracy in data collection and reporting.
- **Communication Skills**: Strong written and verbal communication for reporting findings.
- **Problem-Solving**: Ability to derive insights and provide actionable recommendations from data.

**Educational Background**:

- A degree in business, economics, statistics, marketing, or a related field.
