**Database Administrator**:
**DBA Responsibilities**:

- Creating and maintaining database standards and policies
- Supporting database design, creation, and testing activities
- Managing the database availability and performance, including incident and problem management
- Administering database objects to achieve optimum utilization
- Defining and implementing event triggers that will alert on potential database performance or integrity issues
- Performing database housekeeping, such as tuning, indexing, etc.
- Monitoring usage, transaction volumes, response times, concurrency levels, etc.
- Identifying reporting, and managing database security issues, audit trails, and forensics
- Designing database backup, archiving, and storage strategy

**Requirements**:

- 0 to 3 years of relevant experience in database Administration in Oracle 11g,12c and 18c.
- Strong in Sql and query performance tuning and database fundamentals.
- Good at basic to advanced Linux commands and also PL/SQL,.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database integrity constraints, performance issues and deadlocking issues, log shipping issues, connectivity issues, security issues etc.
- Experience in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Strong knowledge index management, integrity checks and constraints, table statistics, Materialised views
- Ability to detect and troubleshoot Oracle Server related CPU, memory ,I/O, disk space and other resource contention.
- Strong knowledge of backups, restoration, recovery models and RMAN

**Desirable**:
Administrative knowledge of RAC
Data Guard
Golden Gate etc.
