**Task & Responsibility**:

- System administration activities like proactively manage and maintain servers, installation Commissioning.
- Monitor Server resource utilization, auditing server security, check and update server OS with latest security updates.
- Troubleshooting in case of breakdowns, escalation to service partners & ensuring minimum downtime.
- Provide after-hours support for Infrastructure related emergencies as well occasional weekend maintenance.
- Monitoring, configuration management and reporting functions for servers to make a hands-off environment.
- Group Policy design and configuration, AD User creation, access right management, OU/GPOs & network drives management.
- Define and document best practices and support procedures.
- Maintain inventory and asset configuration documentation.
- Carry out special tasks at Management's direction.
- Interact with other depts. and staff at the technical level, as & when required.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Skills required**:

- Advanced knowledge of Windows Server (2008~2019) /desktop Operating Systems like Win 11 ~ win 7.
- Managing in excess of 50 Windows Server infrastructure.
- Managing of Virtual servers on VMWare and citrix.
- Managing deployments/rollouts.
- Managing server virtualization technologies like VMWare Server/ESX or Microsoft Hyper-V/Virtual Server.
- Well versed in backup technologies like VERITAS & VEEAM Backup, backup on tape
- (LTO-6 & 8) and backup to disk.
- Fair knowledge of managing storages like HPE 3PAR, NetApps and EMC etc.
- Understanding of LAN/WAN networking.
- Expert skills in Active Directory/LDAP user and group administration.
- Ability to troubleshoot network issues including back bone infrastructure issues.
- Flexible and able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
- Must be organized and have the ability to manage Tasks of varying length.
- Strong in Communication, documentation & Interpersonal skills.
- Positive, self-motivated individual who can complete tasks independently.
- Must be a team player

**Qualification**:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or related area) preferred.
- Microsoft Certification (MCSE) or equivalent certification in relevant programs desired.
