We require an **Education Counselor, **provides guidance and support to students in making educational and career choices that align with their interests, abilities, and long-term goals. This role involves assessing students’ needs, offering tailored advice, and connecting them with resources to enhance their academic and professional growth. The counselor will work closely with students, parents, and educators to create individualized plans and ensure a supportive learning environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Student Assessment and Counseling**:

- Meet with students to discuss their academic and career aspirations.
- Assess students' strengths, interests, and academic performance to provide personalized advice.
- Help students identify appropriate courses, majors, and career paths that suit their abilities and interests.
- Provide guidance on study strategies, time management, and personal growth.

**Career and Academic Planning**:

- Assist students in setting short
- and long-term educational and career goals.
- Facilitate workshops and seminars on college readiness, career exploration, and personal development.
- Offer resources on scholarships, financial aid, internships, and job placements.

**Resource Development and Coordination**:

- Develop and maintain informational resources (e.g., brochures, guides) on academic programs, career opportunities, and learning support services.
- Collaborate with faculty, administrators, and external organizations to connect students with academic and career-related opportunities.
- Organize workshops in collaboration with academic departments.

**Support**:

- Provide emotional support and encourage students to overcome academic and personal challenges.
- Address issues related to student mental health, social adjustment, and learning difficulties; refer students to relevant support services as needed.

**Administrative Duties**:

- Maintain accurate records of student interactions, assessments, and counseling sessions.
- Track students' progress and adjust counseling strategies to ensure the achievement of their goals.
- Prepare regular reports on counseling activities, outcomes, and trends.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Education, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Previous experience in academic counseling, education, or a related field.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with educational and career assessment tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, students, and parents.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Knowledge of career and academic development theories.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in digital tools for scheduling, assessments, and student tracking.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift

**Experience**:
