Job Description: Admission cum Education Counselor*

*Position Overview:*

As an Admission cum Education Counselor at askIITians Offline Centers, you will play a pivotal role in guiding students and parents through the admission process while providing comprehensive educational counseling to support their academic journey. You will be responsible for understanding the needs and aspirations of students, assisting them in making informed decisions about their educational paths, and ensuring a smooth transition into our programs.

*Key Responsibilities:*

1. *Admission Counseling:*
- Interact with prospective students and parents to understand their educational goals, preferences, and requirements.
- Provide detailed information about askIITians' programs, curriculum, teaching methodology, and facilities.
- Address inquiries regarding admission criteria, eligibility, fees, and scholarships.

2. *Educational Counseling:*
- Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with students to assess their academic strengths, weaknesses, and career aspirations.
- Offer personalized academic guidance and career advice based on students' interests, aptitudes, and goals.
- Recommend suitable courses, programs, or educational pathways that align with students' objectives and capabilities.
- Provide insights into various competitive exams, entrance requirements, and preparation strategies.

3. *Relationship Management:*
- Build and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and educational partners.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for resolving inquiries, addressing concerns, and providing ongoing support throughout the student's journey.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including faculty members and administrative staff, to ensure a seamless experience for students and parents.

4. *Data Management and Reporting:*
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions, counseling sessions, and admission-related activities.
- Generate reports on admission trends, conversion rates, and student feedback for management review.

*Qualifications and Skills:*
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in counseling, preferably in an educational or admissions setting.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to empathize and build rapport with diverse individuals.
- Knowledge of educational systems, curriculum standards, and competitive exams (e.g., JEE, NEET) is desirable.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
